Last night I read books with my 5-year old Amelie before bedtime. In the book we read the word 'carnivore' came up. I explained to Amelie what it means to be a carnivore and she proceeded to tell me animals that are considered carnivores, like tigers and lions, etc. We continued to read the book. After two minutes or so I decided to test Amelie to see if she listened before and if she rememberd what we talked about so I asked her: "Amelie, do you remember what we call meat-eating animals?" Without hesitation she answers: "Ferris wheel". :-)
I am still cracking up...
