Gestern (1. November) waren wir mit Freunden zu der jaehrlichen Herbst/Halloween Party auf einer Farm, die meiner Universitaet (wo ich arbeite) gehoert. Das ist eigentlich immer alles ganz nett mit Essen, einem grossem Feuer, Heuwagenfahrt, Kuerbisschnitzerei und Plaetzchendekoration. Das Wetter hat auch super mitgemacht. Es war zwar a bisserl kalt aber es hat nicht geregnet und der Boden war nicht matschig. Es war sehr schoen.
Yesterday we went to the 7th annual CWRU Fall/Halloween Family Fun Fest at Squire Vallee View Farm with our friends the Coliches and the Beans. It was a lot of fun especially since the weather cooperated. We had some food, went on a hayride, decorated cookies, watched a bonfire. We agreed to come back next year.

Looks like a good time was had by all!! Next year Alex will be right in the thick of things. What a great place to go for trick or treat, nice and safe. Jazzygirl
